Bring sack lunches for a picnic at noon - we will have bottled water & snacks available between sessions.

This is a mini condensed version of the kids camp we held in June, but is strictly for ages 6-9 and each child must be accompanied by an adult for joint learning & interaction with the alpacas. Great opportunity for kids (& adults) to experience farm life, fiber arts, herd health, and more! Also learning about work ethics, responsibility and discipline while on task. Includes handling, feeding, management and interaction with the alpaca herd. One-on-one Obstacle course training with alpacas. Learning about herd health and maintenance, including lab studies and identifying common livestock parasites and how to treat them. Fiber arts and craft workshop. Also learning the eco-friendly nature of alpacas and the soil enhancement properties of their manure. In case of rain, sessions will all be in our mill room, stall area & barn.

*Even though the accompanying adult can be anyone so chosen by the parent or guardian, the LIABILITY WAIVER MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND SIGNED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
