Magnolias & Prayers: Everything Alpaca (M&P) is the combined ranching and retail partnership of our two ranches:  Magnolia Blossom Ranch and Answered Prayers Alpaca Ranch (see the “Our Ranches” tab for individual ranch information).  This partnership was formed in early 2017 after each ranch operated separately for over 5 years.  We collectively have over 14 years of combined alpaca ranching experience.

We raise the alpacas primarily for harvesting their fleece by shearing once per year in the spring.  Their fleece is cleaned and processed into batting, roving and yarn for retail sale and for making handmade items.  We are currently outfitting a mini prep mill for processing our fleece, as well as, fleece from other ranches (see “Our Mill”).  We will also lease out the mill by the hour and plan to hold various fiber arts workshops once we expand the area to include a fiber arts room.

Between the two ranches, we have over 40 alpacas, both huacaya (the teddy bear type) and suri (the type with long locks or dreads).  Refer to the “Alpaca History” tab for detailed alpaca history and facts.

Breeding season at our ranches is typically in the spring, though we sometimes breed in the fall.  Gestation is 11-1/2 months and the baby is called a “cria”.  Certain alpacas in our herd are for sale.  Refer to the “Our Alpacas” tab or “Contact Us” for more details.

M&P operates a Ranch Store at Magnolia Blossom Ranch (“Our Store”).  Products include alpaca fiber products including apparel, rugs, blankets, toys, handmade knitted, crocheted, woven & felted items, accessories and more.  We also carry alpaca and llama novelties such as keychains, t-shirts, jewelry, etc.  Our online store (“Shop Now”) is under construction.  Watch for the opening!  We also take our products to various vendor events around central Oklahoma.  Check out “Our Shows” for details.

We hold various events (“Our Events”) at the ranch throughout the year including wine tastings, yoga, wine & palette – all in the pasture with the alpacas all around you.  All events include petting and feeding interaction with the alpacas.  We also have other farm animals on the ranch.
