Kid’s Camp at the Alpaca Ranch - AGES 10-17 ONLY $75 per child for the 3-day camp - ONLY LEGAL PARENT/GUARDIAN MAY REGISTER MINORS FOR THIS EVENT.  ONLY 20 SPOTS AVAILABLE - REGISTER ONLINE 

1/2 Days for 3 days (8am-noon daily). Great way for kids to experience farm life, fiber arts, herd health,  etc. Also learn work ethics, responsibility & discipline while on task. OPTIONAL 4TH DAY WORKSHOP FOR ADDITIONAL FEE-SEE DETAILS.

Tue-Thu, June 14-16, 2022.  Daily 8am - noon (Kids can be dropped off a little early for convenience of those parents who work, but arrangements should be made for pickup between noon and 12:30pm).   We will have bottled water & pre-packaged snacks available between sessions, but you may send snacks with your child, if desired.  

ADULTS WELCOME TO JOIN FIBER PROJECT WORKSHOP AT 10am ON DAY 3 FOR $20 EACH.  

PARENTS/OTHER FAMILY ALSO WELCOME TO JOIN ALPACA INTERACTION/DEMO at 11am on DAY 3 - no extra fee. 

OPTIONAL:  DAY 4 (Jun 17th) is a more focused workshop on how to participate in Alpaca Shows/Competition.  Additional $25 fee for this optional Day.  Parents/Family may attend the last 1 hour of this workshop to observe what their child has learned about showing alpacas - no extra fee.  Children as young as 5 yrs of age may attend this 1/2 day workshop (Children ages 5-9 must have parent/adult attend with them-no fee for the adult).  The workshop is for beginners as well as those with alpaca show experience.  Attendee limit for this workshop is increased to 25.  For registration/tickets for this optional workshop, click this LINK (link will be activated once registration is opened).  Also, participants will be treated to a complimentary pizza lunch after this workshop ends.

Great opportunity for kids to experience farm life, fiber arts, herd health, and more!  Also learning about work ethics, responsibility and discipline while on task.  Includes handling, feeding, management and interaction with the alpaca herd.  One-on-one Obstacle course training with alpacas.  Learning about herd health and maintenance, including lab studies and identifying common livestock parasites and how to treat them.  Fiber arts and craft workshop.  Also learning the eco-friendly nature of alpacas and the soil enhancement properties of their manure.  Adult volunteers encouraged to apply.  Sessions will all be in our climate controlled event room, stall area & barn (will adjust for weather conditions).

ADVERSE WEATHER INFO: In case of adverse weather, activities will be moved into our indoor event room.  Refunds not permitted for non-weather related conditions or your own decision not to attend. However, if you cannot attend due to circumstances beyond your control, tickets are transferrable to others - just provide us with the substitute info no later than 24 hrs prior to the event.  E-ticket (receipt or email) will be required at check-in.
