As a member of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce, A-OK received email notice of the upcoming 107th Grady County Free Fair coming August 25-27, 2022 to the Grady County Fairgrounds.

A-OK will have a booth at this event all 3 days and will bring Alpacas and a display of fiber and fiber products, felted items, and printed information.  Our plan is to promote A-OK membership, our alpacas shows, and, more specifically, our Youth Show opportunities.

A-OK is also a Silver Sponsor/Kid’s Day Sponsor at this event.  The Kid’s Day events are on Friday the 26th from 8:30am until 2pm.  They typically have 500 or so 2nd and 3rd graders from area schools that come to the Event Center (indoors!) to participate in 9 or 10 agricultural workshops like dairy farming, Seed to Bread (to show them how we actually get bread), and several other presenters, including our Alpaca Workshop we will be presenting!  Each group of about 50 kids rotate every 25-30 minutes to the next workshop.  They learn about farming, agriculture and livestock, etc.
